Definitely THE highlight of the Hollywood Club Crawl. This place was hopping and the music had everyone dancing. Great ambiance and vibe. Downside...prices for drinks. Way high, but that is the only problem I had with Supperclub. Will be returning when I am in LA once again.

This review is for dining, not clubbing. So we missed this venue opportunity for my friend's birthday, but my girls indulged me for mine. They still had to go through the same BS re the reservation, but beyond that, it was a good experience. On Hollywood, in the midst of the action, there is no parking. If you're wearing 3-inches and above (as we were), pay the $8 parking fee for the closest lot and switch back to the strip to the venue. The venue is an old movie house. Registration is at the "ticket booth." While you stand in line, they have a poster backdrop for y'all to sashay at. You enter to a bar (one free shot, but nothing for the non-alkies) and restrooms upstairs. After passing the first bar, you enter the lounge. Here, you begin to get a vibe for the place. There was a SCP (SupperClub Person) in an inflatable pool of balloons, blowing bubbles at the audience. The lighting was blue and purple. The servers were retro. The drinks were GOOD! The vibe was interesting and relaxing. We'd arrived early, and were able to enjoy the vibe (other SCP interestingly entertaining guests) while other guests arrived and crowded the lounge. When the curtain opened for seating, you are seated on a 4-person bed with a bed tray. All beds face the center stage. Entertainment begins immediately (I won't go into it; look at the pics) and continues throughout. The D.J. was HOT! He kept it bumpin'! Food is SLOW-going; you're able to see the kitchen with its one chef during performances. When the grub finally arrives, it's good. All-in-all, a great experience. High-priced, but repeatable. : )

I first heard of the Supper Club from the Travel Channel, when they covered the original Amsterdam location. So when they finally opened one in LA, I knew I had to go experience it, especially when I scored a Living Social deal. For those of you who don't know, this is a dining experience where you sit comfortably on a huge mattress, enjoy a meal and some unexpected acts of the performers and be dazzled. At the reception area, we were offered a complimentary drink and hor d'oeuvre as we waited for the curtains to be pulled back. After a 15 min anticipation, some of the performers came out to invite us in. We had our assigned bed on the upper level. Though it's farther away from the center stage, we had a panoramic view of the entire room. The large room resembles a trendy lounge with cool music, a live DJ and modern decor. The dinner courses they served was surprisingly good. The meats were tender and not overcooked. After all of the courses were served, we found ourselves stuffed. Acts were timed to coincide with each course with lots of funny behavior from a flamboyant drag queen in between. Very talented this he/she was. The acts include acrobatics, mesmerizing dances and slight comedy, all in unique costumes and outfits. Drinks are not cheap. You can either order them from the servers or go straight to the bar. At times, the MC turned dinner into an interactive experience, getting some of the more plastered people to dance around and compete for free liquor. We were too busy enjoying the food. To pay full price will not be a cheap evening, but this is something to be experienced at least once in your life. Best to book it with some friends to make it more memorable. After 10, the place turns into a night club. Upon exiting, you'll see the typical Hollywood club crowd waiting to get in: Girls in tight short skirts and guys with dark shirts and heavy cologne. If you're planning to drive, spring for valet. Street parking is rare and a nightmare. If you arrive before the doors open, grab a drink at one of the many bars on the block to get your buzz on early.

A Hollywood Club, trendy new place that reminds you of MTV. All white, large ceiling space, square middle dance floor, unique bedding table service seating with space under each booth bench to store your purse and shoes. Pro: The above. Table service girls are extremely nice. Lots of air compare to other clubs, awesome big screen. Con: The wait, the wait, the wait. Only fun if you or a friend has a table. Crowd: Not sure how it is usually but I went when an azn promoter production was throwing a club event there. So super Asian crowd? Its like the Drais or Colony but for asians that night haha They definitely make people wait longer than other clubs would.....and no one is inside!!! They say get there by 10:30p if you're on guestlist, but they don't let people in until 11p =x Also, make sure you find the guestlist guy there for your tickets, sucks balls when we didn't even see him and had to wait another extra 30min so they can find him again. Also, they allow dslr cameras. They'll make a big deal, talk to the security, talk to the club manager, but it worked out and I got mine in thank goodness. I couldn't put it in the car since I got dropped off. Would give it less stars because of the ridiculous wait, but gave it a 4 star because it is a new trendy place.
